How about that all-too-predictable liberal counter assault against Ann Coulter this week. Reputable (allegedly) news organizations nation wide are reprinting unsubstantiated reports from the blogosphere which accuse Coulter of plagiarism. What should we make of this?

First--These accusations are nothing new. Everytime Coulter comes out with a new book, the liberal blogosphere rolls out the plagiarism stories and hyperventilates over them for a few minutes. The accusations have been investigated by her publisher and have been found to be untrue. End of story.

Second--Why is it that liberals will never debate a conservative on the facts of a particular issue? For example, when Coulter wrote a book calling liberals "godless", liberals responded by saying Coulter had been mean to the Jersey Girls. Coulter devoted an entire chapter of her book to the culture of death and its importance to the Democrat Party, and liberals responded with false accusations of plagiarism. Could it be that the facts are on the side of conservatives and liberals know it, so they dazzle, distract, and obfuscate? Liberals can't possibly defend their cockamamie ideas, so they engage in name calling and subject changing, what Muhammad Ali would have called "The Rope-A-Dope".

Thank you, Ann Coulter, for shining the cold light of harsh reality on these liberal games.
