has it really been 10 years?

The 2006 NFL football season marks the 10th anniversary of my beloved Green Bay Packers winning their last Super Bowl. Brett Favre, Reggie White, Desmond Howard, Antonio Freeman, Dorsey Levens and company defeated the New England Patriots 35-21 at the Louisiana Superdome in Super Bowl XXXI. The Magnificent Favre threw for 246 yards and 2 TD and scored another TD on the ground, the Packer ground attack gained 115 yards in rushing, and MVP Howard returned 4 kickoffs for 154 yards and 1 TD.

Will the Pack be back in 2006? Not likely, but the addition of A.J. Hawk (rookie LB from Ohio State) and Charles Woodson (free agent DB and former Heisman winner) should make them a whole lot better than in 2005.

Anyone who calls themselves a football fan owes it to themselves to make the pilgrimage to Lambeau Field at least once. Go online at www.packerfantours.com to find very affordable packages. Go Pack!
