liberal law---the un-fairness doctrine

Have you ever seen the beer commercials that feature Burt Reynolds, Jimmy Johnson, and other recognizable men sitting around a table in a "star chamber" of sorts, debating and voting on "Man Law?" No leaving the game early, and no baking on game days! Man Law! Those are great commercials! http://manlaws.com/

Whenever I read about some new liberal piece of legislation, such as the "Media Ownership Reform Act" sponsored by Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-Georgia, I always get a mental picture of a group of lefty wing nuts sitting around a table creating "Liberal Law." One of the very first tenents on Liberal Law is, "When writing laws, give those laws names that say just exactly the opposite of what the real purpose of that law is." A perfect example? Try out the Fairness Doctrine.

www.creators.com/opinion/david-limbaugh.html will take you to a column by David Limbaugh concerning the so-called Fairness Doctrine. There is nothing fair about it, I can assure you. The purpose of the Fairness Doctrine is to destroy conservative talk radio. Period. The Fairness Doctrine has been so named so that liberals, whenever they hear a conservative oppose it, can say, "You mean you are opposed to fairness?" There are no limits whatsoever on liberal dishonesty! There are also no limits on the lengths a liberal will go to in order to suppress the 1st Amendment rights of a conservative. These people are dangerous, and we must engage them aggressively on the battlefield of ideas.
