This is Gary varvel's first ever animated cartoon. It's hilarious!

Lori Borgman is a Hoosier treasure! She's a wonderful writer, and this Christmas column really strips away all of the fluff and focuses on the truth of Christmas.

It was interesting to me to see the wide range of responses the post by Adam Dawson inspired (scroll down to "A Gift For Us All" from Dec. 20). Verrry interesting!

This is classic liberalism! Notice the tired old liberal talking points--making a moral distinction between a peaceful Christian republic and a warmongering radical Islam dictatorship is wrong; spending billions of dollars fighting Islamofascism takes our focus away from really important liberal domestic programs; the war on terror is no more than the busy-body U.S. trying to "fix" another country's problems. Wow! How do these people breathe without written instructions?

This Cal Thomas column should be required reading for people on all sides of the political spectrum.

1994---Islamofascist terrorists hijack a French airplane on Christmas Eve. See www.history.com/tdih.do?action=tdihArticleCategory&id=1228 I thought these were people we could reason with! I thought that radical Islam terrorists just needed love from us to stop their maniacal jihad. Open your eyes, liberals!

On the lighter side, I give you "Ghost to the Post" from Christmas Eve, 1977. See the following links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_to_the_Post and www.profootballhof.com/hof/member.jsp?player_id=43 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_playoffs,_1977-78
