liberal hypocracy on display

I heard a news report today that Laura Bush had a surgical procedure done back in November to remove a cancerous tumor from her leg. All reports are that she is fine. But that's not the point of the story.
What was the reaction of the D.C. press when this information was discovered? Did the White House reporters say a prayer for Mrs. Bush? Did they offer encouraging words to her and her family? No and no. The White House press raised hell because they weren't notified as soon as the procedure was done. They were upset because they were deprived of a "BIG STORY." This raises several questions in my mind:
1. Just who in the world do these people think they are? How self-important and narcissistic does a person have to be to react the way the media did?
2. What makes the media believe that they have a right to obtain personal medical information about the First Lady? She isn't an elected official. She doesn't make public policy.
3. Wasn't it the liberal media that said that states have no right to obtain abortion records of minors because medical records are sacred? I guess when it comes to the murder of unborn babies, all the rules are off!
4. Is there any limit to the hypocracy or the depravity of liberalism?
