a war we just might win

This is the link to the op-ed written by Michael E. O'Hanlon and Kenneth M. Pollack in the New York Times. Michael O. O'Hanlon is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. Kenneth M. Pollack is the director of research at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at Brookings. Both men are liberals, and both have been harsh critics of the way in which Pres. Bush has mismanaged the war effort in Iraq. In other words, this isn't analysis from Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
This article is essential reading for all clear-thinking Americans who are only interested in the truth, uncorrupted by ideology. That essentially disqualifies all radical leftists, and most of the Democrats in the Senate (was that redundant?).
Bottom line--The surge is working. The Democrats who still oppose the surge have officially become allied with Islamofascism against the United States. They have put political gain ahead of American national security, and they are unfit to hold public office. They are now clearly chearleaders for terrorism and are actively working towards the defeat of U.S. troops. In my book, that makes them just as evil as the terrorists.
Do you think that I am being overly harsh? You're wrong. U.S. House Majority Leader James Clyburn, D-S.C., (the third ranking Democrat in the House) recently stated that positive progress for America in Iraq would be a very big problem for Democrats. Not one single Congressional Democrat has publically denounced Clyburn's traitorous comments, so we can only assume that the Democrat Party agrees with him.
Now, let's look at this logically. American progress in Iraq would most certainly be a "big problem" for Islamofascism. Wouldn't you agree? Rep. Clyburn says that American progress would be a "big problem" for the Democrat Party. Simple logic says that this thinking puts the Democrats and the Islamofascists on the same team.
From now on, I will no longer use the word "Democrat" to label the members of America's political party of treason and surrender. I will refer to them as "America's Al Qaida."
The truth only hurts when it should!
