an open letter to the gop
Doug Edelman is a conservative political commentator and a contributing editor for The Conservative Voice. His work is also seen on News By Us, The American Daily, The Post Chronicle, New Media Journal, Capitol Hill Coffee House etc. For the support of his family, however, he is also an IT Consultant/Contractor and owner of a Computer Services Business. He has taught PC Maintenance & Repair and Networking at his local Community College, and maintains a blog at http://edeldoug.blogs.com/. The following was written by Mr. Edelman on June 5:
In the week following the McCain/Kennedy debacle, I received fundraising letters from the RNC, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committees.
Given the number of Republican Senators who just don’t seem to get it on a number of issues, most particularly the issue of Illegal Immigration and Amnesty, I find it difficult to contribute directly to the party machine which keeps these RINOs coming back election after election.
Therefore, I have resolved to contribute NOT ONE DOLLAR to the Party on a national level any more. While I will support individual candidates based on their positions, I will never again contribute to the National Party – and my purpose in this article is to encourage those like-minded to do the same… AND TO TELL THEM SO.

The Senate felt the heat of a brushfire on Amnesty. The grassroots have caught FIRE – and are holding their politicians feet to it!
I have sent the following note to each of these organizations. I encourage you to do the same:
After the showing of the Republican Senators during the debate and votes on the McCain/Kennedy Amnesty Bill, I will NEVER again support a national Republican organization for as long as pandering RINOs who are willing to legitimize our Alien Invaders can put an (R) behind their names and be financed for re-election!
I will continue to support pro-enforcement, anti-amnesty candidates directly, however not one dollar will go to the party itself.
