u.s. rep. duncan hunter

Rep. Hunter (R.-CA) has a lifetime rating of 92.0 from the American Conservative Union (see He is one of the so-called "second-tier" candidates for president in '08. He deserves more than just a cursory glance from the Christian conservative voter. Take a look at his credentials (

Voted NO on allowing human embryonic stem cell research. (May 2005)
Voted YES on restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions. (Apr 2005)
Voted YES on making it a crime to harm a fetus during another crime. (Feb 2004)

Voted YES on funding for health providers who don't provide abortion info. (Sep 2002)
Voted YES on banning Family Planning funding in US aid abroad. (May 2001)

Look at to see Hunter's core principles on the sanctity of life, a balanced budget, traditional marriage, the free exercise of religion, the proper role of the judiciary, and education. It's way early in the campaign season, but it's not too early to take a long look at the candidate who echoes everything that we Christian conservatives say we believe in.
