the blessings of liberty; let's continue

Earlier this month, I posted my thoughts about the 16 foundational principles of the American republic, and liberal opposition to those principles. See the link:

Several days later, I posted specifics concerning the first 4 of those principles. See the link:

Modern liberalism, or secular progressivism, is the sworn enemy of the America envisioned and created by our Founding Fathers. I would like to continue the discussion with principle #5.

#5: Our God-given rights (see #1 and 2) are most likely to be secured if the government is constrained by a written constitution. This was a very basic belief of the Founders. They knew that, if the government wasn't restricted by specific, written, concrete limits, it would be very easy for the government to constantly evolve into a depotic dictatorship. Welcome to The Land Of "The Constitution Is A Living, Breathing Being," also known as the land of liberalism. Please allow me to translate. When liberals say that we have a "living constitution,' they are saying that the words of the Constitution mean whatever liberals say they mean. They are saying that the Constitution "guarantees" the right to murder an unborn child. They are saying that the Constitution "guarantees " gays the right to marry. They are saying that the Constitution prohibits all expressions of Christian faith in the public square. They are saying that the Constitution "guarantees" the right of every American to "free" health care, a "living wage", a "free" education and perpetual care eternal salvation from the "village" of Mommy and Daddy Government. You get the idea. Liberals don't believe in a written Constitution. Why do you think that liberals love the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals so much? It's because the "Most Overturned Court in America" is continually "reinventing" the Constitution in new and creative ways. Oh, those wacky liberals!
