"God made all men equal--equal in His eyes and under the law."
This was the first of the 16 foundational principles of the American republic that I listed in the above link. It is closely linked together with principles 2-4, and they all come directly from the Declaration of Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
It couldn't be more clear, could it? Right there in "America's Mission Statement," Thomas Jefferson lays the foundation for everything that would come later. Our Constitutional Republic was built on this foundation.
Jefferson didn't just invent this concept, however. All of the Founding Fathers were very familiar with the writings of Sir William Blackstone, the 18th Century English jurist and professor who, during the 1760's, wrote Commentaries on the Laws of England. His treatise on the common law was the most influential such writing of that era. Look at

Liberals, of course, will deny all of this. The modern liberal likes to talk about man being his own god because we have "evolved" so much as thinking, analytical beings. We are free to interpret God's laws in any way that makes sense to us, they say. Well, that's not quite true. Christian conservatives don't have that right, but that's because the liberal intelligentsia tells us that we are not quite as "evolved" as they are. Rubbish!

Read the words of a former president from 80 years ago, on the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and think about their significance as we look at the foundational principles of the American republic. Think also about how often we hear the devotees of modern liberalism trash these very principles. Liberals believe that our rights are gifts from a sometimes-benevolent, secular progressive government. "Oh wonderful government, give us this day our daily bread!" "Love Mommy and Daddy Government with your entire being!" "All men are created equal, but some are more equal than others. Check with the Bureau of Current Victim Status and we'll let you know how equal you are!" That is the America that modern liberalism is seeking to create, and it is an abomination. The "New America" that the liberal fringe (only about 10-15% of the population) is seeking to foist upon the right-thinking majority is diametrically opposed to the America envisioned by our Founding Fathers. We must fight this powerful minority with all our strength. Our children and grandchildren are depending on us!

As Neil mule-sex Horsely said to Alan Comes, conservative to democrat, chirstianst to liberal: "You people are so far removed from the reality" Hondo!

So when the bible says: "As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church." Then you must beleive that women shouldn't speak in church as oppossed to men who can. Is that what you beleive Hondo?
And when the bible says: "Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head." Then you must not wear a hat, and your wife must keep her little submissive head covered. Christianist like Ann Coulter who insults and demeans "peaceful people who happen to cover their heads for their faith." Even Michelle Malkin called her out on that little act of christianist intolerance.
Like Limbaugh who mock parkinson disease sufferes...real chist like love in that man there huh Hondo?
Like John McCain who resorted to insulting the child of someone who has different political views to himself: "Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno." Yes because of politics...delivered to a cheering republican hate-filled crowd (CPAC). Nice character and values there Hondo. Kind of shows up you republicans for the hate-filled scourge that you guys really are.
And I think you right-wing christianist pretty much have the edge on domestic terrorism too. A direct porduct of the hate-filled rhetoric that you and your christianist champions preach.
George Washington said "I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality." I think that pretty much puts old George in the liberal camp Hondo.
So stick your tail between your sick little legs and go away somewhere until you really do smarten upa little and "evolve" beyond your hate and become the man that your creator hoped you could become.
