FACT: Sen. Robert Byrd, D-Virginia, is a former member of, and recruiter for, the Ku Klux Klan. The most senior member of the U.S. Senate filibustered against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 14 hours.
FACT: Sen. Byrd was assisted in his filibuster effort by Sen. Al Gore Sr., D-Tennessee. Gore was the leader of the "Segregationist Democrats."
FACT: Former President Bill Clinton (Democrat) frequently praises former Senator J. William Fulbright, D-Arkansas, and former Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus (Democrat) as two of his most influential mentors. Both were proud Segregationist Democrats. Faubus was the governor who refused to obey Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower's executive order to desegregate Arkansas schools. Eisenhower had to call out the U.S. Army to enforce desegregation in Little Rock.
FACT: Senate Democrats resorted to creating a bogus sexual harrassment claim against Clarence Thomas to keep him from sitting on the U.S. Supreme Court. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nevada, says that Thomas has been an "embarrassment" to the Supreme Court, and compared one of Justice Thomas' dissenting opinions to the writings of an 8th grader. FACT: If the Democrats lost just 5% of the black vote, they would never win another presidential election. If they lost 10% of the black vote, the Democrat Party would become irrelevent. If they lost 20%--just one in five black voters--of the black vote, the Democrat Party would cease to exist. Nationwide, African Americans are becoming increasingly frustrated with Democrat positions on gay marriage, school voucher programs, abortion and high taxes. Knowing all of that, you would think that Democrats would be a little more careful with their words. I suppose that the inbred racism and bigotry of the Democrat Party is something that they just can't change.

Recently, in my local newspaper (The Morning Call of Allentown Pennsylvania on Wednesday 05.31.2006) and also maybe in yours, the following group(s) have placed prejudiced and Un-American, Un-patriotic, immoral, intolerant advertisements into the newspapers which hide their true agendas: Focus On The Family Action/Family Research Council by James Dobson and Tony Perkins and www.citizenlink.org, www.family.org, www.frc.org. Once again they are attempting to sway the American public with their UnConstitutional and intolerant views. Don't fall for these snake-oil salesmen and nazis! Remember, that this IS America and NOT nazi Germany or Communist China! These people should go back to school and finish school and ACTUALLY learn something this time and NOT just the pictures this time. Take the following classes: Biology, Evolution-Darwinism, Science, et al. If these people who placed these advertisements, and they are NO different from The Taliban in Afghanistan (American Taliban), want to live in a freedom-less and rights restricted government, I can tell them where to go. The advertisement dealing with marriage clearly states bigotry, intolerance and close-minded, unresearched views as well as fear-mongering which are Un-American and Un-Patriotic. Since when does someone else's marriage effect anyone else's? NEVER! If two people of the same sex wish to get married, so be it! NO ONE NOR ANY GOVERNMENT NOR AGENCY has a say in the decision of two consenting adults, in or out of the bedroom or their marriage or divorce. Remember that this IS The United States of America and NOT Nazi Germany nor Afghanistan/The Taliban regime!!!!! The US Constitution and The Amendments/Bill Of Rights NEVER takes away someone's rights and freedoms but ALWAYS gives rights and freedoms. Also, The US Constitution and The Amendments/Bill Of Rights governors this land and NOT the Bible! Did these bigots NOT learn from the Salem Witch Trials or the Civil War or the 1950s Civil Rights movements? Guess NOT! Because their views still show their ignorance of history and of the world. This includes the republicans, bush/cheney/rice/rumsfield/gonzalez/et al. These people and organization are clearly no better than the Taliban or the Nazis as their views state.
