There are certainly many issues that I disagree with Ed Koch on---socially, he is way too liberal for me---but I find that there are many things that I do agree with him on. Koch calls himself a "liberal with sanity", and differentiates himself from the mental midgets and radical wingnuts that currently control the Democrat Party. The above links are for his 4 most recent columns, as found on Newsmax.com. I confess that I felt somewhat nauseated when he stated in one of the columns that he supports Hillary for president in 2008, but there is a whole lot of true wisdom to be found in the rest of his writings. This ranks as "must-read" political commentary.
