another illustration of the insanity and dishonesty of jimmy carter
Is there anyone in America more insane, more dishonest, or more hateful of America than Jimmy Carter? If there is a more detestable human being in this country than Jimmy Carter, I don't know who it would be.
It's been a few weeks since Mr. Irrelevant has been heard from, so naturally he had to open his trap to a reporter again this past week. It seems that the former peanut farmer believes that Pres. As you read those criticisms from the fabulously incompetent ex-pres, also ponder some of Jimmy's "Greatest Hits":
1. How about that nuclear arms deal brokered by Jimmy Carter during the Clinton administration with North Korea? That was the deal where Carter promised that we would continue to supply madman Kim Jong-il with more aid in building nuclear reactors, if they would just promise us that it wasn't for nuclear weapons. Heck, even if it was for nuclear weapons, we would still help. That deal worked out real well, didn't it?
2. How about the time when Carter demanded that the Shah of Iran step down and turn over power to the Ayatollah Khomeini? Wow! That certainly worked out in America's favor, didn't it? The Ayatollah inaugurated his new government by murdering 150 of the Shah's top military commanders, then he attacked the U.S. Embassy and held our people hostage for more than a year. Oh, and how about Carter's "rescue mission?" That was right out of a Keystone Kops script! Thank God we finally had an election so that we the people could fire Carter and put Ronald Wilson Reagan in office! By the way, take a look at the long-term results of the Crazy Jimmy/Ayatollah partnership. The entire Middle East was thrown into turmoil as a result. The U.S.S.R. invaded Afghanistan and the Taliban began its rise to power. Iraq invaded Iran and Sadaam became more powerful. Iran eventually became a player in the nuclear arms race and is now part of the "axis of evil." Thank you Jimmy!
3. As an ex-president, Carter has befriended and supported each and every murderous dictator in the world. Every Arab monster of the last 30 years has had Jimmy Carter as a joyful and willing partner, and for good reason. The Carter Center receives millions of dollars from Arab sources. No wonder Jimmy hates Jews so much--he's on the payroll of Professional Anti-Semites!
In the words of Jonah Goldberg of National Review: He's praised the mass-murdering leaders of Syria and Ethiopia. He endorsed Yasser Arafat's sham election and grumbled about the legitimate vote that ousted Sandanista Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua. And, I learned from a devastating critique by my National Review colleague Jay Nordlinger, Carter even volunteered to be Arafat's speechwriter and go-fer, crafting palatable messages for Arafat's Western audiences and convincing the Saudis to continue funding Arafat after the Palestinians sided with Iraq against the United States. So, yes, it's unfair to say that Jimmy Carter was history's greatest monster. But it's a safe bet that if Carter could shake the hand of history's greatest monster, he'd leap at the opportunity.
I disagree with Goldberg on one point. While Carter might not be history's greatest monster, he most certainly is the greatest monster in American history. He has been a loyal friend to Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Marshall Tito, Nicolae Ceausescu, Raoul Cedras, and Edward Gierek. He has been a fervent opponent to all who seek liberty, both here and abroad. It is not a stretch to say that many thousands of innocent people all across the globe have been slaughtered due to the "humanitarianism" and "Christian love" of Jimmy Carter. And he has the nerve to criticize Bush? Not only was Jimmy Carter the worst president in the history of this country and the most dangerously ignorant man to ever hold an elected office, but he is also an anti-Semite, a radical socialist, a false-teaching antichrist, and a traitor to this country. He deserves to be shunned by all freedom-loving people everywhere.
