JunkScience.com is a great website. We are constantly being bombarded by startling new discoveries, new warnings, and new crises through "news reports" that all start out the same way--"Many scientists now believe...." I have long suspected that most, if not all of these reports were bogus, particularly the ones concerning global warming. Come to think of it, I am equally suspicious of the second-hand smoke reports (speaking of fiction), but that's a subject for a different day.
