God loves us!

Did you know that God loves you? The Bible tells us that He knew us and loved us before we were even born. In fact, the Bible says that God is love. This is an amazing thing that we are talking about here. You see, the Bible says that the only thing that God hates is sin, and that He can't tolerate sin in His presence. The Bible also says that each and every one of us, without exception, is filled with sin, yet God loves us anyway. The way that God reconciles this apparent contradiction (from our imperfect, human perspective, anyway) offers us the proof of His love. God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, all the way from heaven down to earth to die for our sins. Because of our sinful nature, we deserve to spend eternity in hell, separated from God. That's not what God wants. Our Creator desires to spend eternity with us in the Heavenly Paradise He has prepared for us. This is a gift of mercy we don't deserve, but that gift is freely offered, anyway. All we have to do is to admit that we are sinners, beg God to forgive us, and accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Master of our lives and our personal Savior. That's all! Once we do that, God will send His Holy Spirit into our hearts to guide us, counsel us, strengthen us, and bless us so that we may live more fulfilling lives within His Perfect Love. His Holy Spirit will also prepare us for that glorious day when He is ready for us to join Him in Paradise. Jesus lived, died on the cross, was buried, and then lived again so that we could have eternal life. If that's not cause for celebration, I don't know what is!
