If this nonsense continues, the conservative base of the GOP will revolt and split the party. A split party will give us Hillary (or whoever) as our next President. Ain't that a kick in the head!
Memo to the GOP: Flush the amnesty bill down the nearest commode. Secure the border and stop the flow of new welfare recipients into our country. Deport all illegals who have committed a crime. Finally--nominate a true conservative for the '08 election.
Failure to comply will result in the creation of an "it takes a village" government, effective January '09.
