C'mon now Hondo, this is typical "my way or the highway" rhetoric, an it has been used so much by you consercatives that it is killing your credibility to anyone with half a brain cell. This is why you conseratives are on the loosing side.

You conservatives are so hate-filled of any different political oppinion that you just want to silence any dissent to you. You resort to the the dirtiest tricks like calling the rest of us un-patriotic, hrting the troops, aiding the enemy, treasonous, or un-American as the rhabbi does here.

And the rabbi would have me leave my country because I am a libeal? The country that I have volunteerd for 20+ years to protect and defend? Suddenly I am not worthy of residing in my own country? Do you agree with this Hondo?

"There is a place in this world for liberals and socialists. It is not America"

Hondo, you conservatives are much more critical and derisive (and even devisive) than us liberals.

If you want to see good example of conservative anti-americanism, just check out Michelle Malkin's contempt of our Bill of Rights:

Intereting view by this guy. I remember you linked to something of his once before. But I don't find that mainstream America holds views that different to me as a liberal, or feel "grated."

My bigger question is how does Rabbi Spero figure that I should move to Europe because I am politically a liberal? I am almost insulted by that but am trying to keep an open mind to what exactly he means. Also, is he implying that there is something wrong with Europe? I was in Gernmany last week, and it is one of the most beautiful places I have been. It's people were very hospitable and seem very happy and content. I beleive that UNICEF recently released a study that showed Germany and most of the rest of Europe were way ahead in the art of raising healthy and happy children. That has also been my expereince in most places that I have been in Europe, and I have visited a lot of places there. Granted I don't know a lot politcally about European countries, but my experience has always been positive in those places. So what's the deal? What is your take Hondo?

I'll respond to liberal reader first---Yes, there is something wrong with Europe, and, no, the people of Europe are not happy and content. According to the World Health Organization, and Dr Gudjón Magnusson, WHO director for Europe in charge of mental health, Europe has the world's highest suicide rate, and cases are rising among young people there. The suicide rate across the continent is 17.5 per 100,000 population. In the U.S., the rate is 11 per 100,000 population. France has a suicide rate of 20 per 100,000 and Germany has a suicide rate of 14.3 per 100,000. This is not very surprising. As a continent, Europe has become almost wholly secular, and the people there have completely turned their backs to God. The results are predictable.
You say that you are offended by the Rabbi telling you to move to Europe? Is it less offensive for liberals to attempt to destroy the America created by our Founding Fathers and to replace it with socialist, secular clone of Europe? If liberals don't like living in a constitutional republic based on Judeo-Christian principles with a free market economy, then yes, by all means, feel free to move to Europe.

To GI Patriot--Take a deep breath, buddy, and try to let the meds kick in. It can't be good for your blood pressure to fly off like that!

Conservatives don't hate anyone. We do disagree with the socialist, secular progressive leanings of the modern left and we will express our disagreement. Of course, the left interprets any disagreement as hate speech, because that's the way liberals are.
Conservatives don't try to silence opposition. Liberals do. Are you not familiar with The Fairness Doctrine (a misnamed bill if there ever was one!) which would effectively kill conservative talk radio?
America was founded upon 16 basic principles, and liberalism is opposed to all 16, so don't tell me that conservatives are anti-American. Liberalism opposes everything the Founders believed in, and supports everything the first Americans were running away from. Study your history, and then come back for a more informed discussion.

And Hondo loves his country so much he has given how many years to it's defense?

Oh yes, that's right, a big fat zero!

Nicely done, GI Patriot! You resorted to the oldest liberal trick in the book. You couldn't refute the facts in this post, so you created make believe qualifications determining who has the right to debate. How precious!
