ronald reagan's core beliefs

As I was watching the GOP made-for-TV-reality show the other night (I can't call it a debate and maintain my credibility), one of the things I noticed was how often each of the candidates invoked the name of Reagan in their well rehearsed remarks. Good grief, why don't they just carry around a little Reagan bobble-head doll that they can rub for good luck!
Ronald Reagan was the greatest president of the 20th Century, and one of the 5 greatest presidents of all time. I guarantee you that most of the men who stood on that stage last Thursday night have absolutely nothing in common with Reagan, no matter how many times they utter his name.
If you go to the above link, you will see a summary of Reagan's core principles. There isn't anyone among the Democrat candidates that believes in any of those principles. The GOP candidates are better, but there's really only 3 or 4 of them who hold to these vitally important core principles. As Christian conservatives, we owe it to ourselves and our nation to study each of the candidates very carefully, and to support the one who holds most closely to these guiding principles. I intend to hone in on these principles, and I will provide information on my blog about each individual candidate and their demonstrated reverence for Reagan's beliefs.
It's one thing to say "Ronald Reagan" ten times real fast. It's quite another to visibly demonstrate a firm belief in Ronald Reagan's core values.
